Even though we are unable to worship in-person this Easter Sunday, we still want to find a way to share our traditional Easter greeting and response, "Christ is risen!" ... "He is risen indeed!" IN-PERSON WORSHIP GATHERINGS: PAUSED FOR NOW Due to growing COVID-19 transmissions, our provincial health and political leaders have determined that as of Thursday no indoor worship gatherings of any size are permitted. This means for at least the next three weeks we will not have our in-person Sunday gatherings or Journey Group meetings. The weekly worship guide will be still provided on our website for families to use and for any Journey Groups that would like to gather to...gether remotely. The Lead Team is meeting this Sunday: please pray for us as we determine our next course of action as we respond to this significant change. We know that this transition may bring out a variety of emotions and responses. While there is much that is uncertain and out of our control, the Level Ground Lead Team and staff are committed to seeing our church family remain relationally connected and spiritually vibrant through this most recent obstacle. Through this time, we encourage our faith family to support one another through prayer, communication, and tangible expressions of care. Our God is faithful, and the peace we have in Jesus is real. Let us continue to hold onto the hope of Christ, for ourselves and for others. If any significant needs or concerns arise, please do not hesitate to reach out.

2021 BUDGET MEETING: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 29th (1 PM) We are excited to invite our Level Ground church family to participate in our upcoming Budget Meeting! OCTOBER-DECEMBER: IN-PERSON GATHERING COHORTS We know that many of us are missing being with our faith community on a regular basis. So for the remainder of the year we are going to adopt a 'cohort system' for our in-person gatherings! In total we have three cohorts, each built around pre-existing Journey Groups and social bubbles within our church family. THANKSGIVING PRAYER WALK: SUNDAY OCT 11th, 11 am - 2 pm Sign up now for our outdoor, interactive and family-friendly prayer walk happening this weekend! In lieu of a typical Thanksgiving worship service, we are inviting our church family and community to participate in a series of prayer stations that will lead you through a time of expressing gratitude, concern, intercession and hope to God. Hey Everyone! Level Grounder Baseball is starting up again!!!!!! This Tuesday, August 11th, we will be hosting a picnic and softball gathering at Dormick Park Elementary (32161 Dormick Ave). The BYO picnic begins at 6:00 PM and softball will follow at 6:45 PM. Because we are unable to have more than 50 people in attendance, pre-registration is mandatory. Please email [email protected] by Monday, August 10 if you plan to attend.... If you have any cold or flu like symptoms, we politely ask that you refrain from gathering with us. We are taking extra precautions to ensure everyone’s safety and as such the structure of our time together will adhere to our current health guidelines. These are the following COVID practices we will be practicing to keep our gathering safe: - Please bring your own chair (or blanket) and hand sanitizer - BYO picnic: no sharing of food, drinks, utensils, etc except within households / social bubbles - A minimum 6 ft between households / social bubbles at all times - Posted playground COVID guidelines must be adhered to and will be self-regulated - Softball participants need to bring their own face mask and ball glove - ball gloves can only be shared within households / social - bubbles (if you need a glove, please contact the staff). - Bats and balls will be sanitized regularly - Infield softball participants are required to wear a mask (the pitcher can be exempt) - Batting team must line up in a way that maintains appropriate physical distance Please check in with the host when you arrive so that we can maintain accurate attendance records as well.
