As many of you may have heard in the media, dental offices are able to begin to reopen. That may hold true for some dental offices that have a stockpiled PPE and are already equipped to handle emergency and essential services. For us at Liberty Dental Centre, your safety and our staffs safety is priority. Please be assured we are taking this slowly so we get it right. Retraining, retrofitting the office and securing necessary PPE is underway. Staff are currently being fi...tted for N95 respirator masks. Plexiglass barriers have been installed at reception and protocols have been implemented for entering and exiting the office. These changes are just few of the many requirements outlined by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada (RCDSO). We take this very seriously. We want this transition to be smooth as possible in order to minimize stress and promote safety. Dental clinics are at high risk of spreading the COVID-19 without careful planning and appropriate guidance. For this exact reason, we continue to ask for your patience and understanding as we at Liberty Dental Centre prepare to welcome you back. Things may look different as we navigate the required guidelines. Appointment times may be limited, for now. Prescreening protocols will be implemented and followed closely. Patients will require to do a pre-appointment screening upon confirmation of appointment. Again, another screening and temperature check will be done upon arrival to your appointment, but before entering the office building. Patients will be required to wear masks to and from the appointment, and can only be removed during treatment. This is to ensure the health and safety of all clients and staff. If you have had an appointment that we had to cancel, we will be contacting you to schedule back in. Please be patient with us.
