When we read a passage like this, our doubts and questions often rise to the surface. Is He really who He says He is? Is He really the Good Shepherd who wants to lead us to still waters and restore our weary souls? Jesus heal our unbelief. Help us to believe that You are trustworthy and that You are the Savior who can make all things new.

Jake and Brett have a conversation about the COVID-19 pandemic. They share how it has affected them as well as practical ways to navigate our hearts and relationships during these difficult times.

May the peace of Christ be with you. As many of you have probably heard, Canadian health officials and the Prime Minister have taken proactive steps to help protect people from the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and COVID-19. They are strongly recommending people practice social distancing and restrict non-essential travel. Furthermore, they now require the cancellation of gatherings of 50 people or more. This means that we are obligated to cancel our upcoming Women’s Ret...reat. Although we are saddened and understand this is disappointing for those registered, the safety and wellbeing of everyone is our top priority, especially those who are most vulnerable. We know that this poses an unavoidable inconvenience for those who have made various travel arrangements. Our hope is to reschedule the retreat at a time in the future deemed safe for everyone. We are asking for your patience and understanding as we work to refund everyone their registration fee. The third party system we use to offer online registration charges a $20 processing fee for every transaction, but we are asking that they waive this fee. We are awaiting their response and are working hard to resolve this immediately, but it may take a little bit of time. Furthermore, when the event is rescheduled, we will give those who registered for this event priority for registering again. We will update you with any new and pertinent information as soon as we can. We hold onto the truth that our God is good and sovereign and that He holds us all safely in His care.
