I love when things are organized! I love that our teachers have such a heart for the students and a passion for teaching! I am also grateful for the enthusiasm that the students have to come to school, even with the adjustments that needed to be made this school year. We are truly blessed

The rainbow was first set in the sky by God Himself as a token of a covenant that He made to never flood the whole earth again. It’s a sign of His Faithfulness, his Promise-Keeping Goodness towards mankind. Of course, like everything else that He creates, the Devil tries to twist it into something totally different by deceiving the people into believing that they can use God’s symbols for whatever they wish. The symbol of the rainbow even seems to stand for different things, ...in different cultures. Having said all that, we are here to say that the beautiful colours of the rainbow are a symbol of our hope in the Living God, who cares so deeply for us that we can never properly express our appreciation for Him. May you taste His Goodness and celebrate too, while looking with confidence to our LORD Jesus Christ for all of our future circumstances. Hebrews 6:19 - This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.

Just under 7 weeks until school starts! Although we are not 100% certain exactly what it will look like, we are trusting God and moving full steam ahead with curriculum order going in next week!! There is still some availability to register your children for the coming year.

We are excited about going to Ripley’s Aquarium! They don’t want us to come at the time we booked for now because of all the precautions being taken concerning the corona virus these days. So we made our own aquarium!

High School Home Ec class created plates of delicious cookies available for purchase this evening at our parent/board meeting or by messaging to order for pickup in the kitchen at church Sunday morning. $10/plate. All money raised will go to helping the Home Ec class with their cooking projects this semester. (anyone interested in the school or wanting more information is welcome to come out this evening @7pm.)

Our Gr. 2-3 teacher got married on Saturday and although the rest of the staff wasn’t invited, we unanimously decided to crash the wedding . She didn’t have us thrown out and actually thanked us for coming Congratulations Julia Bueckert (now Mrs. Blatz)

A delicious meal made by the high school class as part of their nutrition program. The teachers were also recipients of their efforts and very much appreciated it! Great job class!!

Thanksgiving is coming and to help make your preparation easier, the school will be making and selling pies! Orders need to be in by October 4th and pies will be available for pick up at school on October 11th between 10am - 3pm and October 12th from 9-11am. September 14th @ 6pm, come on out to Lighthouse Gospel Church for a great evening! This is a fundraising concert for the school and is by free will donation.
