Another Bright and Sunny Day - HOORAY! This is the last afternoon I shall be open before Christmas (in theory - as you know I will happily open if you 'phone and confirm that I am here). I would love to see you and perhaps be able to help sort out solutions when you are seeking that special something for that Special Someone!!! However you spend it, have a truly wonderful day.

Even the weather co-operated for the Open House on Sunday - Hooray!! The time flew. It was so lovely. A HUGE "Thank you" to everybody for making the effort to come, at such a crazy busy time of year! Folk have been wonderfully supportive throughout the year but Sunday felt really special and for that - "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you"!!!!!

What a beautiful day for the Open House!!! If you can manage to fit in a visit, please do come and say "Hello". Enjoy some hot cider and a nibble or two. It will be lovely to see you.

Gloom combined with snow cover, a good day to spend as much time, snug and warm at home, as possible!! But now that we are in December, Christmas does loom large in our thoughts. Should you choose to brave the outdoors, this Friday or Saturday afternoon, do call in and say "Hello" and have a look at what the shop has to offer. If you cannot manage Fri., or Sat., please remember the OPEN HOUSE this coming Sunday, between 2.00 - 4.00 p.m. You will be more than welcome. In the meantime stay safe and thrive.

So here we are, hurtling into December, 2019. My Mother did try to warn me about how fast time flew as you got older, she was not joking - where has the rest of this year gone??? Back on 26th May, the Port Williams Baptist Church held a "Random Acts of Kindness Day". I was so fortunate to be given help. My brother David and a chap called Tyson, cheerfully removed the existing Wardrobe from the Shop, into the Garage and the Wardrobe I had been painting into the ... Shop. I had removed the doors and my wonderful brother (not buttering him up - HE IS) Put two large shelves into said Wardrobe and suddenly the Shop developed a different personality - it seemed to mature. Somehow because of that, Christmas has just seemed to "Move in". Not sitting superficially, as it has appeared to in the past but to actually become "Part" of the shop. I love the results (in fairness, I am somewhat biased!!!) and would be delighted to hear what you think of it all too. So please call in and share your thoughts. Now, if only Christmas had managed to move itself into the house as well. I had better head off to make that happen too!!
