Ever since Helen Keller inspired us to champion the cause in 1925, we’ve served and advocated for the blind and visually impaired. Nearly a century later, this long-standing mission continues unhindered. #vision #canadianlions #kindnessmatters #LionsClubsInternational #LionsClub

Accessibility of the built environment, where we live, learn, work, and recreate, is an equity issue. A core value of public health is to reduce inequities help...ing all members of a community to thrive. The Centre for Healthy Communities, along with the City of Edmonton and the Accessibility Advisory Committee, conducted a project to understand Edmonton's Whyte Ave entranceway accessibility standards.
