A few changes to daycare setup.

Moon Dough! Fun sensory play with super simple ingredients: 1 cup of flour 3 or 4 tablespoons of cooking oil add some drops of food colouring and glitter to make it special ... Full disclosure: it’s messy fun

A mix of sensory play and letter recognition.

We’ve been playing around with shapes recently. Matching patterns and Shape Scavenger hunts! Have kids explore the house and find these various shaped objects: 1 triangle object, 2 circle objects, 3 rectangle objects, 4 square objects.

Happy Earth Day!

Earth Day theme Great for fine motor skills. Some kids will be very occupied with this simple activity.

Reviewing numbers in the great outdoors! A friend inspired us to make a homemade bird feeder. We used a toilet paper roll, slathered peanut butter on it, and rolled it in birdseed. Then we stuck some sticks in the bottom for the birds to sit on.

Another indoor activity that works well for burning energy, what we call the pillow walk! Line up all the pillows & cushions you can find, and let them walk/run across. Kiddos loved this at daycare!

Balloons are loads of fun! When it’s difficult to get outdoors, but need to burn some energy, balloon volleyball and tetherball work great.

Hello everyone! I thought I'd post some activities that we are doing at home, for when you are out of ideas or need some inspiration on keeping little ones busy. Since Easter is fast approaching, I've attached a link to a cute Easter Egg printable page.
