What a successful week for Little Creek @thunderbirdshowpark ! Stephanie Valdes having a great week with Cyber lady jumping 2 amazing clears in the 1.45s, becoming champions of the 1.45 league, and Ducati 24 champions of the 1.35 league Wendy Valdes’ Grace Kelly, jumping some great rounds in the hunter ring with @tiffanyfosterofficial Makayla Barta coming 3rd on Cohinoor in the U25 final and 3rd in the 1.40 classic on Cirdano, in which Coolio 40 owned by Wendy Valdes, to...ok the win with Tiffany! Emily Ward taking home 1st and 2nd in the U25 final with Millioninmind and @teamkpf Evita. And went on to jump a clear in the GP with Millioninmind picking up 1 unlucky time fault. Congratulations to @tiffanyfosterofficial taking home another Grand Prix win, and for jumping double clear on Hamilton under the Little Creek flag! For the second straight week, Canadian Olympian Tiffany Foster put on a show at Thunderbird Show Park, dominating the $40,000 VOLVO CANADA Cup 1.45m at the Fort... Festival with Artisan Farms' Brighton. Foster and "Brighty" were more than two seconds faster over local course designer Joey Rycroft's (CAN) shortened track, crossing the finish timers in 41.99 seconds. It was a standard that simply could not be caught; despite jumping first in the order, none of the following eight jump-off competitors could catch the pair. In fact, Foster could not even catch herself, ultimately securing third honours aboard her third jump-off ride, the up-and-coming Northern Light. That being said, I have made the decision to base out of my home province of British Columbia for the summer. I am so grateful to Jane Tidball, Chris Pack and everyone at Thunderbird Showpark for allowing me to move there with all of my Artisan Farms horses, all of my students and all of... the horses from Little Creek Equestrian. We will all do the required 14 day quarantine upon arrival and can’t wait to see all the friendly faces from an acceptable social distance when shows resume in Canada.
