Dear friends, Here at Live, our customer's health and safety are paramount. The CFIA performs random testing and trace amounts of gluten was found in a batch of Turmeric wraps. Out of an abundance of caution, we proactively chose to put a halt on distribution of all products that had any similar ingredients to this particular product until a full panel of testing could be conducted. ... As a result of this testing, a trace amount of gluten was found in a batch of flax purchased from one of our suppliers. All of this testing has been submitted to the CFIA. The CFIA has determined that there is a low risk that consuming the food will result in any undesirable health problems and as such has confirmed these products are safe to continue to distribute. In the same vein of prioritizing our customer's health & safety, we are proactively removing the "Gluten Free" statement from our line of wraps, crackers and breads as we await a new batch of flax. We are also implementing standard gluten testing on all flax purchases moving forward to guarantee this issue will not arise again. We take these types of events incredibly seriously and want to be transparent with our customers as your trust in our products is our ultimate goal.
