Hello members! We are excited to announce that tennis is open to play! Singles and doubles are both approved by the provincial government (with guidelines of course that are attached). Also, we are really pleased to be able to offer a junior lesson program! We can offer lessons of up to 4 students plus the teacher this summer! Just to update members- there was a small fire in the clubhouse Tuesday afternoon, November 26. The Fire Department responded and there appears to be minimal damage. The origin appears to be electrical and NS Power cut the power off at the pole. We will have to get an electrician to inspect the wiring before power gets turned back on. We will let you know when power will be restored.

Backboard Rebuild Project - Phase 1 (demolition) complete. Now for the hard part - putting it back together !

Congratulations to Canada's Bianca Andreescu! She advances to US Open Semi-Finals. Difficult win as she dropped the first set but dug down to beat 25 seed Elise Mertens of Belgium in 3 sets. Tonight, she will play No. 13 seed Belinda Bencic of Switzerland. Regardless of the outcome, she will be ranked in the top 10 after the US Open is finished. Good luck!

Hi everyone, This Wednesday, August 28 we'll be having our season ending fun day at the tennis & pickleball club @ 10:00 am. We'll be having a BBQ at lunch - all kids and families are invited! We'll be giving out some awards and having as many members there as possible would be really great to support our juniors! See you then!

Congratulations to Bianca Andreescu for being the first Canadian to win the Rogers Cup in 50 years. She is predicted to be ranked #14 in the world after the tourney! If she can stay healthy, she will be winning many more. Canadian tennis players are climbing up the rankings- both women and men!

Lessons start Wednesday July 3! If you haven't signed up its not too late - we'll have someone there Wednesday morning to register!

Membership sign up this Tuesday June 18th at the club from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Membership helps keep our club going! Hope to see you Tuesday.

2019 Tennis/pickleball schedule

Hi Everyone, This is a reminder that tomorrow (Sat, May 25th) is our opening/registration day from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. We're pleased to announce that Ben Hatt is returning as our junior instructor this summer. Ben has proven to be a great tennis instructor as he brings with him a lot of tennis experience, dedication and he works very well with the kids. He and us (the tennis/pickleball board) are very happy to have him back! ... So please come out tomorrow to register for tennis and/or pickleball and enjoy the sunshine. We'll have the junior tennis schedule available as well. Ben will be putting on some games for the kids, as well there'll be BBQ'd hot dogs and hamburgers for all to enjoy. Thank you, Colin
