Meet our leader! Chaz Ibrahim, our Resort Manager joined Living Water Resorts in April 2020, just as COVID forced the temporary closure of the resort. Looking back at the early days of the pandemic, Chaz recalls participating in a lengthy TripAdvisor webinar in hope that it might provide insights about how the global resort industry was reacting: "It was rudimentary due to the lack of knowledge and... mere speculation, but necessary nonetheless. I then went on to research much of what others in my industry were doing and applied certain aspects to our unique property." Early in his career on cruise ships, and later at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, he managed operations during a Norwalk flu outbreak. Although this pandemic is different than what he dealt with at that time, he believes there is a constant in the privilege to host guests when they have so many alternate options. As Living Water Resorts CEO and Founder Larry Law observed in his message above, Chaz believes the challenge of COVID provided an opportunity for learning and finding solutions. In particular, his learning is that proving inspiring guest experiences must always be top-of-mind no matter the situation. At Living Water Resorts Chaz has found a unique business culture, an organization that leads with the heart. One that, in his words, is rare today. A business in which you can be a good human being and contribute to a successful organization simultaneously." Chaz sees tremendous potential in the people he works with and this will, he believes, keep him energized at the resort for many years. There is a lot of heart here that deserves to be recognized and developed.
