The Well Dressed Room

This kitchen is a real treat! Cozy and bright, modern and functional! A perfect space for my clients to start and end their day around the inviting island. In his words, "it is exactly what I had envisioned."

The look and feel of these island pendants are somewhere in between vintage and modern design. They are the perfect addition to my clients's new kitchen by adding just enough light and ambience that enhances the overall space. Scale is very important when choosing light fixtures for over an island. This is determined by ceiling height and island length. Pendant width and height, will help decide how many lights will be required to achieve the desired look.

A free standing tub always feels very luxurious. As a "bath person" it was important for my client to have that elegant spa feeling. This vessel not only gives you that, but it also makes a statement in the space.

Every project starts with a vision... the client's vision! Executing an attractive, functional and safe space based on their specific needs while staying within the client's budget is my job. Removing a large corner tub to make room for a larger shower and a bidet were a must as well as adding more storage. It makes me happy to make their vision a reality and create a space that reflects them.

After 14 years of yellow walls, my clients opted for a more relaxed and peaceful main colour throughout their home. It now feels light and airy without "colour clutter". We kept a bold colour on the fireplace wall which is also the media centre. An accent wall is great way to make a big colour statement while still keeping a balanced colour palette providing a peaceful feel throughout the house.

My clients are not afraid of colour, but choosing colour is another story. I am pleased that they ditched the beige and went bold on this beautiful ranch. Swipe left to see the before pics.

By using a simple custom narrow depth vanity, a patterned floor tile and a glass tub door, we have given this small bathroom a spacious feel and a fun vibe.

Staging Works! Make a lasting impression on potential buyers. I staged this home to maximize it's potential and to appeal to the largest number of buyers. It sold in just a few days over list.

You are a product of your environment. So surround yourself with what brings you joy. Do not underestimate the power of colour. It has the ability to define your mood as well as create a specific aura or energy in the atmosphere.

Furniture placement can be a challenge. That is when a little creativity is required. Like in this loft, with its slanted ceilings and windows that fold out into a look out terrace. While still allowing for full access to the amazing lake views, I was able to create a warm inviting space to enjoy the outdoor breeze, relax in a cozy chair with a book or lounge on a comfy couch. This loft will definitely get lots of use.

I do what lights me up and interior design is still a large part of my purpose. It is the part of my life that allows me to serve in another creative way. I have always been a "multifaceted" person with many interests while seeking new ways of expressing myself.
