Attention: Phones at all NLPS schools are not working this morning due to a power outage. Parents who need to report an absence for their child have the following options: If you need to report your child absent, due to a bus cancellation, or for any other reason, there are three ways you can report that absence: 1. Log in to the School Messenger app and choose Attendance from the drop down menu on the left-hand side of the screen, then click on the Report an Absence button i...n the lower right-hand corner or 2. In a web browser, go to go.schoolmessenger.ca, log in and choose Attendance from the drop down menu on the left-hand side of the screen, then click on Report an Absence in the top right-hand corner. 3. Call 1-833-288-7008 toll-free and use our Safe Arrival system to report your child's absence You can also contact your child's school or teacher using email.

All NLPS buses are cancelled today, March 29, 2021. Schools are open and regular classes will proceed. Programming may be modified if large numbers of students are absent. If your child will be absent due to the bus cancellations, or for any other reason, please inform your child’s school. You can report an absence using the School Messenger app, at go.schoolmessenger.ca or by calling your child’s school directly. Safety is our top priority and we want to make sure that all of our students who plan to attend arrive safely. If you do not notify the school of your child’s absence, you may receive an automated attendance call asking you to call and confirm that they are absent.

Congratulations to these 3 Lac La Biche Outreach Students for completing the Community Helpers program. They received their certificates and had lunch for all their hard work. Thanks to Lindsay Lroume for co-facilitating the program with our Student Advocacy Counsellor Crystal Anderson. Also to Glynten and Ben our School Liaison Officers that came for our celebration.
