No trip in Saskatchewan would be complete without trains. Most of these photos are on the CPR Swift Current Sub. 1 is at Cadillac SK, and a couple are at Swift ...Current , but on the CPR Medicine Hat Sub. Special note here..... an east bound CPR potash train had a "hot wheel" and was forced to stop at mp 45 of the Swift Current Sub. This is at Secretan Siding (65 miles east of Swift Current SK.) which is 18,645 feet long. An east bound grain crawled up close behind the potash train to allow a west bound intermodal pass. All 3 trains are seen here in a couple photos, as with the grain train following the potash train close once they were allowed to proceed. The trains of this trip will be featured on dvd and available to purchase sometime later this year.
