Ducks! . . A pair of ducks visits us frequently these days, as they have learned about our delicious post-harvest treats. Enjoy those microgreens and seeds, my dudes!

Free compost! Free composted soil - remains of organic microgreen trays. Mix of peat moss, coir, perlite, and composted organic material. We are generally on site Mon 9-2, Tues 8-4, Thurs 9-12, Fri 8-4, although someone is actually there every day. We also share the site with others, so even if we aren't there, someone else may be. Lately an article has been going around on CBC about farmers market vendors in Ontario passing off wholesale goods as homegrown. They would pick up produce from places like the Ontario Food Terminal, remove the stickers, and sell the food at premium prices, claiming it was grown on their own farm. This defeats the purpose of farmers markets altogether - where the number one priority should be an honest and transparent interaction between producer and consumer. Know who farms ...your food.
