Of special interest to the Prospect Lake and Saanich environmentally concerned citizens -- FYI Lockhart Industries will be installing a Lake Coupled GeoExchange Heating system at the residence at 4865 Prospect Lake Rd. on Monday, July 29th with diver's setting the Lake Hxer into the water about noon. This system will eliminate about 12 tons of CO2 if they were to use a fossil fuel heating system and also will extract a net of approximately 14 Million BTUs over the year from ...the lake (they will not be using the cooling option which would add back about 3M BTUs for a net extraction still of about 11 M BTUs). The system is invisible, silent and lasts about 2-3 times longer than an Air to Air Heat Pump.
