Friendly reminder we are closed today for the Easter weekend! Don’t forget to keep chocolate, blue cheeses, hot cross buns, macadamia nuts, undercooked eggs, and other human treats away from your furry friends. Decorative grass, flowers, and other plants can also be toxic for them. It’s best to treat them with food made specifically for pets. #easter #happyeaster #petsafety

Kennel Cough Outbreak Alert! We have received numerous calls in the past two weeks regarding dogs coughing after being at doggy daycare and dog parks. Kennel Cough is a viral infection that is spread through nose-to-nose contact with other dogs. The most common symptoms are a loud, dry cough and mild lethargy. For most dogs, it resolves without needing any treatment. However, if your dog stops eating or drinking, starts vomiting, has severe lethargy, or if the cough persists ...for longer than 2 weeks, you should bring them in for an examination. If you think your dog has kennel cough, please keep them at home, and away from other dogs, until the symptoms completely resolve in order to prevent this from spreading. If your dog is healthy, and has not been vaccinated against kennel cough in the past 12 months, now is a great time to get them vaccinated!
