The Election will soon be upon us! Hello member of the London Amateur Radio Club. The process of the LARC election of the Board of Directors is upon us once again. You are receiving this e-mail notification because you are a member in good standing for the period ending in October 2021.... The election committee has three members, namely, Frank Birch, Tom Pillon and John Visser Sr.. Once again, as was conducted last year, we will be using Election Runner, an on-line, secure voting tool for the actual election. The timeline for the election process is as follows: Nominations of candidates - Today until Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Naming of eligible candidates - As close to Thursday, April 1, 2021 as possible (communicated at the April meeting, through e-mail and the LARC website. Voting period via Election Runner - Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. through to Monday, May 5th, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Naming of successful candidates - As close to Thursday, May 6, 2021 as possible (communicated at the May meeting, through e-mail and the LARC website. Now, for the job at hand. We invite you to nominate LARC members who you feel would be an asset to the club in the position of board member as one of the Directors. There are seven Board members. The actual titles and responsibilities held by the newly elected Directors are assigned by the Board of Directors themselves. If you do want to nominate a person, as a courtesy, you may want to contact the member yourself to see if they are willing to be placed on the ballot.
