Hello pinball friends of LOPL & TCPL! Hope everyone is doing well! We are looking for up to 24 people who would like to participate in Challenge Matches. This is done from the comfort of your own home against others from their own home. Here's what you need to know (for now):... - the cost is FREE - you can play on ANY pinball machine(s) - you will play head to head against other league members. If the games are different, that's okay...we'll explain how that works with Pindigo. - we'll have a round robin of matches you can play at your own pace. All games will be completed by the end of March, then a playoff - if you do not have access to a machine, let us know and we have a solution for that. - if we get 24 players we will have a top 12 bracket to determine the winner and a trophy will be yours! - you don't need to have anyone in your home - you don't need to be able to stream - you might even be able to win cash from IFPA! Many players have been doing this with the IFPA's ICR matches. Nick Greenen, Jeff Teolis, Mike Dymus, Randy Whiteford and more. And it's FUN! In fact, Ian Harrower was 4th out of 725 people in the first ICR event! Please let us know if you are interested by Sat., Feb. 27th, and we can set this up. FYI: With COVID-19, the IFPA is not sanctioning pinball leagues or tournaments. Our league nights and finals will be rescheduled at a later time.

Our next LOPL league night on Sat., March 21 is postponed until further notice. We will keep you posted with a revised schedule. Safety first. Pinball can wait.

First night of Season 13 Results Season 13 kicked off at Matt and Lisa’s place this Saturday. A big thanks to you guys for hosting. We had 29 players in attendance. We ran a pretty tight budget last year so in an effort to raise some funds for LOPL we had our first 50/50 draw. Half of the pot would go to the winner of the draw and the other half would go to LOPL for trophies, prizes, IFPA fees, web hosting, Matchplay software subscription, playoff hosting fees/pizza etc. The ...draw was a success and the hosts Matt and Lisa ended up winning the draw for $63.50. Matt also tied for 1st place for the night so a good night for him! The trophies for LOPL came in and were given out as well. They are very sweet. A big thanks to Jeff Teolis for making these happen. That took us to the final 4 players. A three game set was played to determine the winner between Shaun, Ian, Nick and Mike. The three games were played on Stars, Xmen and Monopoly. After the dust had settled the final results were as follows: A finals: 1st place Mike 2nd place Ian 3rd place Nick 4th place Shaun B finals: 1st place Joe 2nd place Steve 3rd place Jay H 4th place Jeff T In the end everyone was a winner because PIZZA! The Pinball Tournament! Results are in! After 12 rounds of action Shaun was in 1st place. After the 3 game finals Shaun was in 1st place! Congrats Shaun on winning The Pinball Tournament! The A finals consisted of Shaun, Mike, Roger and Kris. Shaun took home $40 cash and some prizes, Mike won $30, Roger claimed $20 and Kris cashed in $20. ... The B finals included Mark, Julie, Jason H and Laura. Mark swept the 3 games and took home some cool prizes! 21 finalists competed last night in the LOPL playoffs. We started with 12 rounds of head to head action. The top 8 from the 12 rounds moved on to the finals. They were: 1 Ian Harrower 15 pts. 2 Shaun Russell 14 pts. 3 Mike Dymus 13.5 pts.... 4 Mark Incitti 13 pts. 5 Jeff Teolis 12.5 pts. 6 Jason Hamel 12 pts. 7 Joe Stanczak 11.5 pts. 8 Paul Dewar 11 pts. These 8 players played a 3 game set in different 2 groups. The final 4 moved on to the A finals. The 4 that moved on were Joe, Jeff, Paul and Shaun. The B final group was Mike, Jason, Ian and Mark. The A and B divisions played one more 3 game set to determine the final results of the season 11 London Ontario Pinball League.
