New Beer... Weekly Release #7! Return to the Moon Double IPA A super unique New England double dry hopped, double IPA clocking in at 7.5% and 50 IBU’s. This beer pours a golden hue bursting with aromas of stone fruit and tangerine. The initial taste delivers a flavour dominated by coconut and pineapple followed by a complex mixture of cream and citrus. This flavour profile is derived from a mixture of English and Canadian malts, wheat, oats and three types of new age Am...erican hops. Growler fills start tomorrow at 11am, 82 Marr Rd. This weekly ex-beeriment was brewed on the larger system allowing some kegs to go to several fine establishments around the province. So if you can’t make it in for a growler, keep an eye out at your favourite craft beer bar!

Weekly Release #6!! Tropical APA This weeks release is a light & bittersweet 4.7% APA with heavy hints of stone fruit and strawberry, and a hoppy finish.... Growler fills start tomorrow at 11am, 82 Marr Rd. Also on tap we still have some The Half of It, a New England ISA, as well as our other five core beers. Finally, we are extending our sale through the weekend on $11 growlers of Bantam or a flat of Ruckus (Bantam too If that’s your beer of choice) for $65. Deal ends Saturday at 6:00 when we close.

Weekly beer release! New England ISA Ex-beeriment #5 is Long Bay’s first sessionable beer. We wanted to keep it lighter in alcohol and therefore lower in calories - but have all of the flavour of a ‘regular’ craft beer. Apply named: The Half of It... This 4.5% New England ISA is an easy to drink low alcohol IPA, that is dank and super hazy like most New England style beers. The complex hop profile is supported by lots of wheat and oats yet remains crisp and clean on the finish. This beer is crushable and delicious. Beyond growler fills at our brewery, keep an eye out for The Half of It at your favourite bar or restaurant. We brewed this weekly ex-beeriment on the larger system, so will have kegs to send out to a select few establishments. Growler and Howler fills begin tomorrow at 11 am... 82 Marr Rd.

NEW BEER LAUNCH EVERY WEEK! Join us tomorrow for the launch of Long Bay’s Experimental Beer Series! Every Friday at 4:00 we will be tapping a new batch of experimental beer for growler fills at the Brewery. These Ex-Beeriments will feature one-and-done small batch recipes, allowing us to explore new ingredients, fresh ideas and fun twists to old favorites - while you get to enjoy some unique beers. ... The Ex-Beeriment series will also allow you to provide feedback and ideas on what you want to see from us. Although each Ex-Beeriment won’t appease everyone, we will at some point brew the Long Bay beer that you want to see. Post your ideas in the comments below, as well as your feedback on the weekly release. 1 Ex-Beeriment #1 Double Dry Hopped Bantam Pale Ale A small but effective twist on one of our staples, this beer was brewed the same as Bantam always is including the normal Citra dry hopping dose. Once that was complete, a second addition of Mosiac hops were added - twice the normal amount used! The result is a very aromatic, tropical pale ale that is full of hop character but still clean and crisp. Growler fills begin at 4:00pm, Friday at 82 Marr Rd!

New Beer: Zero IPA Ex-beeriment #4 is a zero IPA. This relatively new style of beer is defined by its intense hop aroma and flavour, without any measurable bitterness. It is juicy, citrusy and has a smooth creamy finish. There is some perceived bitterness due to the large amount of dry hops used. Best enjoyed by the pint, also selling in growlers and howlers at 82 Marr Rd.

Following up on last weeks big news, we are excited to announce that Long Bay is now licensed to serve beer (and other alcohol) for on site consumption! This was a four month process and the largest hurdle to opening our taproom. Since we do not have the proper space for tables and chairs just yet, we are not equipped to handle walk-ins (but if you really want a pint of beer we aren’t going to say no!). However, we are open to pre-arranged groups under 12 people from a sing...le ‘bubble’ coming in for some pints. The space we have is standing room only, literally set up in the brewery, so don’t expect anything fancy! But it works, and we really enjoyed having our first group in last week. Hello everyone, we have some pretty big news to share! Long bay has passed the torch on to new owners after three rewarding years. This transition has been in the works for several months, but we needed to wait until everything was official before announcing. Jon Chouinard & Tim Webber, the new owners, are great guys and have been behind some excellent brews! They have actually been involved in the process here for months now as well, so don’t worry the current brands aren’t... going to change. The guys have big plans for launching several new beers very soon and... opening a taproom! Stop in at the brewery and meet them, at 82 Marr Rd. Ex-beerimental Series Week #3!! This week we bring you Mega Mango w/ Mosaic a mosaic dry hopped sour with a boat load of Mango added in. This will be the last of our experimental sour beers for a little while as we venture towards the hoppy spectrum for a few weeks.... Mega Mango is ready for growler fills first thing Friday until it’s gone! Open at 11 am, 82 Marr Rd.

NEW BEER ALERT... Ex-Beeriment #2! This weeks release is just in time for what may be the last sunny and warm weekend of the year... Pineapple Sour Our Pineapple Sour Ale is dry hopped with Saaz hops. Saaz are not normally used to dry hop beer, nor is pineapple normally used in sours so we figured.. why not try both?! The result is a complex, tropical and slightly tart sour that will help you pretend it is still summer on the first weekend of October. ... We’re tapping these kegs as soon as we open tomorrow at 11 am. Come get a growler fill at the brewery, 82 Marr Rd. When it’s gone, it’s gone!
