Busy building new boards and maps for DX-Ball 2 and Hegemony III. Hard to find two more different games to be working on at the same time.

With the latest DX-Ball 2 update out in beta now on Steam, we've had a little more time to get back to the long awaited next expansion for Hegemony III. The quick GIF below shows one of the techniques we use when building new maps to help line up the rivers and cities. The scan comes from the Barrington Atlas and we overlaid it on the editor-built heightmap using Photoshop.

Plasmaball? Lightningball? We're not sure yet what to call it, but it's one of the new features coming soon in the Classic Pack update for DX-Ball 2. Hegemony fans stay tuned, new expansion content is next on the list.

We just posted a big update to the DX-Ball 2 website! Eager to see more of the ancient Greek ship they just discovered 2km down in the Black Sea - it was always frustrating how few references there were when we were building the ships for Hegemony

Can't believe another show is over ... feels like we only just got to Tokyo. Our first time in Japan was an amazing experience, and we saw a lot of really cool games and met some great indie devs. Excited to play more of our neighbouring adventure/puzzle games 'The Gardens Between' and 'My Memory of Us' when we get back. Also looking forward to getting back into development with the big new Golem update almost ready, the launch of the new DX-Ball 2 edition just around the corner, and steady progress on the next Hegemony DLC.

Tokyo Game Show day 2 is here! Amazed at the size of the indie area (close to 100 games) and the elaborate VR gear. After the show, we took the train downtown for a little sight seeing in the rain.

After a day that went on for over 36 hours we couldnt quite believe we were actually in Tokyo until we stumbled on the giant robots and anime and knew we must be in Japan. Business part of the show starts tomorrow and it opens up to the public on the weekend. Find us in the indie area in hall 9.
