Loyalist College Radio Broadcasting Program 17.11.2020

Congratulations to Loyalist College Radio Alumna, Kristy Andre (Henderson) class of 2015. Kristy has been chosen as one of Radio Ink's "30 And Under Superstars." She will be featured in the December 14 issue of Radio Ink magazine. Each year the publication creates several annual lists, including a list of the "40 Most Powerful People in Radio" and more recently Radio Ink's "30 And Under Superstars. Kristy is currently the Production Director with Bayshore Broadcasting in Ow...en Sound. She’s the sole producer for nine stations, she sometimes produces up to 80 commercials in a day and on average 130 a week!?! In addition, Kristy has recently married her Loyalist College sweetheart, Phil Andre. A fellow Loyalist Radio Grad. Congrats to the newlyweds!

This Fall, the Radio Broadcasting program at Loyalist will offer blended program delivery including a combination of in-person classes and remote delivery for others. These are interim measures until it’s safe for us all to return to campus. While our delivery will include various modes, our student support services are being redesigned to ensure that we are here to support you every step of the way. At Loyalist College, the student is at the centre of everything we do and t...hat will continue regardless of the way in which our programs are delivered. As Canada continues to self-isolate, there’s never been a better time to gain new marketable skills and credentials so that when we emerge from this pandemic, you’re ready to launch, advance or change careers. If you are thinking about getting into Radio and all the career options available to you with a Radio Diploma, we would love to have a conversation with you, and show you why Radio Broadcasting at Loyalist should be part of your post-secondary education consideration.
