Over the weekend, Lucara Botswana, in collaboration with Sky Girls, launched Denim Day which is intended to empower and create awareness against sexual violence. The event was attended by Former President, Dr. Festus Mogae, who stated that his wish is for Denim Day to be commemorated in Botswana annually to encourage conversation on issues of Gender Based Violence.
