Seeking an individual who is outgoing, community-minded and able to work independently to report on community activities and to produce and distribute a bi-weekly community newspaper for the RM of Coldwell area formerly the What’s Happening This will be a term position for 6 months with an hourly wage for 15 hours per week. The Lundar Elks are hosting an Old-Time Dance featuring HIGHWAY SIX at the Community Hall in Lundar on Sunday, May 26th from 1:005:00 p.m. Admission is $12.00 per person which includes Lunch & Door Prizes. A Silent Auction and 50-50 Draw are also available. We look forward to dancing with you in Lundar!

KidSport raises funds through corporate donations, foundation grants, planned giving and special activities and events. Funds that are raised help offset the cost of participant registration fees for community based sport programs. Funding is administered by Sport Manitoba's Regional Offices. KidSport is limited by the funds we are able to raise, therefore we want to ensure we assist those most in need. Our volunteers use the Statistics Canada Low Income Cut-off guidelines a...s a tool to determine which families are eligible for assistance. Exceptions may occur for unique circumstances, but in most cases applications will not be considered if your household gross income is higher than shown in the chart below. 2013 Low Income Cut-off Guidelines Family Size Maximum Household Gross Income 2 $29,004 3 $35,657 4 $43,292 5 $49,102 6 $55,378 7 $61,656 2013 Application deadlines The application deadline for all regions is the 15th of each month. Based on demonstrated need, assistance of up to $300 per individual is available to children ages 18 and under to help offset the cost of registration fees.
