Fireworks painting is a craft that kids will genuinely have fun doing while boosting their fine motor development, imagination, and creativity skills. With this craft, kids are able to create all kinds of different fireworks by mixing colours and shapes. This lava in a cup science experiment is fun, easy, and educational! Kids will love creating their very own dancing blobs of lava, while learning about weight and density. All you need is a few household supplies to supply your kids with hours of fun. How does it work? The science behind it is simple, the oil floats on top of the water because it is lighter than the water. Since the salt is heavier than oil, it sinks down into the water and takes some oil with it, but then the salt dissolves and back up goes the oil! #MacaulayCentre #ScienceForKids #ScienceExperiments
