Our Shrove/Pancake Tuesday on campus was also well attended by a diverse groups of students as all were welcome to join us. We made about 280-300 pancakes and were non stop on our feet serving and connecting with students. We were happy to have Sister Eileen join us! Fr. Markus was of great help with his quick turn over of dirty to clean dishes, cutlery and mugs. Andy and Amanda picked up the pancake making in the kitchen to meet demand, talked to students, and cleaned up at ...the end of the event. We also celebrated the accomplishments with the group of a student or two who happily shared that they had successfully defended their MA thesis. Our Chaplain Seth even got fancy and made students pancakes shaped as the first letter of their name and his last creation was the community pancake(to be shared by many students at a table) this was the biggest pancake flipping that has taken place at any of our Shrove/Pancake Tuesday.
