Twenty four students in Typography II in the Bachelor of Design at MacEwan competed with a design concept for "Going Down Slow", jazz musician Kevin Dean's latest album, produced by Bent River Records.

Congratulations are also in order to the runners up in the Bachelor of Design & Bent River Records Album Design Competition for Kevin Dean's upcoming album, wit...h the students of Constanza Pacher's Typography II courses. We are very pleased to announce the second of this year’s two winners from Constanza Pacher's Typography II classes! Congratulations, Jay Berg, for your winning... design for ROYA's upcoming album, Breath & Being. This is always an exciting collaboration with very impressive work from the second-year Design students, made possible by the generous support of our Provost, Dr. Craig Monk.

Congratulations to Sohee Kim, who won First Place in the Bachelor of Design & Bent River Records Album Design Competition with Constanza Pacher's Typography II ...students! Check out this winning design on Kevin Dean's upcoming album, Going Down Slow. Kevin said: I love the abstract design, the clean minimalism, the black on milky coffee colour. It is elegant yet quite relaxed and playful and just looks beautiful and warm to me.
