Dear Maestra Blankets Community, I just wanted to give you an update about when Maestra Blankets, the world’s most cooling blanket, will be available for orders. The past months have been busy here at Maestra Blankets and I have spent lots of hours trying to find the perfect factory that will match the quality standards I have for Maestra Blankets. Unfortunately, this has not been easy and therefore has been taking a little longer than expected!... I was hoping Maestra Blankets would be ready for you to order this month (April), but unfortunately that won’t be the reality. Instead, the estimate is now at the beginning of June. Additionally, with what’s going on right now with Covid-19, almost all manufacturers, workers and businesses in the world have been affected. Thus, making this even harder. I really hope you will have a little patience. I CANNOT WAIT to show you Maestra Blankets in real life, but I also hope you agree that I cannot compromise on the quality. We would like to thank you for your patience and continued support. We are big believers that we will get through this tough time together. Let me know if you have any questions. I just want to share something I have learned while maintaining Maestra Blankets website. While doing something outside, I was so happy checking my cellphone seeing another 2 new sign ups, 1 reservation, 1 customer interview and 1 inquiry. Wow, I got excited and had full of energy coming home from work. And then when i got home, i logged in and checked my website, my website was unable to access. So, I asked the customer support what happened to my website. Their response was... something had butchered my heart. Rambo style butchery. They said "Our server got corrupted. We are trying to recover". "The recovery will take 24 hours". Sh***t! I got nervous breakdown. This is not good. So, I waited for another day and then asked them some updates. Here's their response "I apologize for the bad news however we're unable to recover InnoDB tables from NJ-S1 due to corruption"... All my leads and reservation list are gone. The messages from potential customers and customer interviews/surveys are also gone. My current version of landing page is also gone. The time, effort and money spent had thrown in the garbage just like that. In short, I have to start from the beginning. My heart is crying so bad. I did not get enough sleep for 3 nights in a row now, specially the first night. It was tough. My tip to all of you, always back up your files. Make sure your important files are backed up because anything can happen unexpectedly. Sorry for this rant. I have to release it. But, I still manage to smile because I have my loyal customers like you who are patiently waiting for launching our product. Thank you very much.
