CCRCE is now welcoming all incoming Primary students to register for school for September 2021. To support ongoing safety efforts during COVID-19, we are offeri...ng a new online registration for parents and guardians. Children who reside in Nova Scotia and reach the age of five (5) years on or before December 31, 2021, are eligible for enrolment in the Primary program beginning September 2021. For more information on Primary Registration or to register online, please visit https://ccrce.ca/primary-registration. For planning purposes, we ask that you submit registrations by February 12, 2021. If you are unable to complete the online registration process, please contact your child's school to register by phone. We are here to support you through this process.

Do you have a 16-24 month old? Are you looking for a program that you can participate in with them? Our Parent & Child multisport classes introduce you and your... little to the fundamental skills of eight different sports. Structured around a play-based curriculum, these classes are a fantastic kick start for an active life. We still have room in the session starting this weekend. Don't worry if you have to miss a class, we can make that work. Classes are eight weeks in duration and will be held in the gym at the Douglas St Recreation Centre. October 15th is Pregancy & Infant Loss Rememberance Day. Pregancy and Infant Loss is an experience we wish no parents had to go through. Though we all grieve di...fferently, many parents feel isolated and alone in their grief. Your baby matters. Your story is important. And you do not need to travel this road alone. If you are struggling, we encourage you to reach out if you are comfortable. We would love to hold space for you and help you honour your baby (or babies).

It's that time of year again. With kids back in school it's a good idea for parents to check their children every week for head lice. We have FREE lice treatment kits available if needed.
