The course will be held two nights per week from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and is designed for individuals pursuing their Private Pilot Licence or who are simply just interested in aviation. RE-OPENING OF MAG CANADA FLIGHT TRAINING ACADEMY To all MAG Canada students and renters, MAG Canada will resume its flight training academy in Sudbury on October 1st. We thank you for your patience during these past six months as the academy was closed due to COVID-19. We understand that our flight school may have been closed longer than others, but we wanted to ensure that we took the time required to ensure proper safety protocols were in place while at the same time not ad...ding extra risk to our wildfire suppression services. MAG has developed a COVID Plan which follows Public Health guidelines to conduct flight training in a safe manner while minimizing the risk of COVID within our organization. As a COVID measure, MAG Canada will not be hosting ground school at this time. We encourage anyone requiring ground school training to consider online training with Harvs Air at www.pilottraining.ca. MAG Canada is excited to introduce the Diamond DA42 into our fleet. This aircraft is currently being used as a fire detection platform but will be available for flight training between October and April for multi-engine and instrument ratings. The DA42 is one of the most advanced training platforms ever built and is a welcomed addition to our fleet.
