The Menthe Arnaki Burger - Our contribution for this years Burger Month!! We started from scratch this year. Rebuilt our Lamb Burger recipe, added an ounce more meat and went from there. Fomi’s Bakery near Winlaw with a beauty bun. ... Crisp leaf lettuce, house made garlic aoli, the MOST amazing feta in a mint cabbage slaw, & sweet mango chutney. The City of Nelson has asked us if we'd be interested in winterizing our patio to provide a safe & comfortable outdoor space for patrons this winter. We are not the only restaurant considering this but we do need some public support. Do you have any concerns about the idea? Do you support it? Are you against it? ... We've sure enjoyed all the support the City of Nelson has shown us, especially with helping facilitate the expanded patios this past summer. As we only recently opened up our dining room as we were granted so much open air seating this summer. We're now hoping to continue this and have outdoor seating all winter. Dr Bonnie Henry has asked us to wear masks in all indoor public areas... eating and drinking sorta makes that difficult. We've also all been asked to keep a tight social circle. Seating outdoors in the open air would allow us to have safer meet ups and give people in our community that don't ski/snowboard a chance to get out this winter. Without outdoor seating we feel some members of our community will simply stay home and that could even further increase our current mental health crisis. Please share, comment and discuss...

***COVID UPDATE Oct 21, 2020*** We’re happy to announce that our dining room is open again, albeit with rather limited seating. For now, we remain first come first serve tho this may change. Our patio also remains out with lots of heaters to cut the chill if you prefer to eat in the open air. . . As you may have noticed, all our staff, both front and back of house, are wearing masks while at work. We’ve spaced the dining room as to ensure social distancing is followed. We as...k that customers sanitize their hands upon entry and provide a name and contact number for the group when asked. We also ask that you refrain from wandering to other tables outside of your own bubble. . . . Our staff have been well versed on new cleaning procedures and policies. Our tables and chairs are sanitized after each group leaves. We do accept cash but have also updated our card system to accept ‘TAP’. . . . . We continue to offer takeout on all menu items, including all sealed bar items.
