Campground still on hold for opening. The following is a message from Camping Ontario: The Ontario Government has extended the Emergency Order act until May 19th, 2020. It was expected that the state of emergency would be extended beyond the May long weekend. We are still anticipating the opening date will be sometime in June, of course these are not promises as anything can happen and things are bound to change. The extension of this order applies to the closure of all non-essential businesses, meaning campgrounds must remain closed until May 19th, 2020.

Maitland Marinas and Resort Park 09.05.2020

GOOD NEWS, Marinas have been allowed to bring in staff to prepare the property for opening. However, we are NOT open to the public yet. Boat launches will start when we are open to the public. Please wait for news from the government on this decision. Launch schedule will remain frozen until we have an opening date.

Please remember now is NOT the time to come to the park. We are required to not allow you on site to help protect our staff and their families as well as the family that runs the park. Any customers that were involved in the recent break in activity have been notified by email with instructions. All trailers and boats have been checked and are all secure. Please stay at home and ride this out. I will be manning the entrance gates.... Thank you for keeping your family and our families safe by staying at home. Maitland Marinas

Maitland Marina Customers, As I’m sure your aware, the province mandated yesterday that all marina in Ontario close their doors effective at midnight Saturday, April 4, 2020. The Boating Ontario Association has informed us that they expect this lock down will last for two weeks, until Saturday, April 18th, and will then be re-assessed. We will not be launching boats until after the lock down has been removed. It is our hope that this will not affect our current launch schedule. Staff will continue to carry out routine block and stand checks and respond to phone calls and emails daily. Stay Safe and Healthy
