Mamba Cycle Community: As you might have heard, our orders from the BC government are to continue to pause spin classes. So for now we will continue our break, upcoming classes have been cancelled, events will be postponed & memberships will remain paused. We know this is not what anyone wanted to hear and we are missing those rides just as much as you are. ... These rides are to raise money and awareness for @wilmastransitionsociety in Chilliwack. They solely help women and their children who are victims of family violence. Rides are a $15 minimum donation with all proceeds going to Wilmas Transition Society. Each class will have a prize for best costume, so dress up and get ready for a ride you won’t forget! Hey Mamba Cycle! Some FAQ & tips for our riders! The biggest complaints on the bike have to do with lower back pain. This is usually caused from not engaging the core enough, make sure you focus on keeping your core right! This can also be caused by your handlebars being too low; try raising them and keep a nice straight back! Our motivators will be sure to remind you of this throughout class!... Knee pain sometimes pops up, which stems from your seat setting being too low, or not stretching enough post ride. You want your knee to be lined up with the ball of your foot on that 90 degree bend. Numb toes can happen and if you loosen the grip of your feet when you ride, relax them, drop your heels and don’t strap your shoes too tight, that should resolve the issue! Neck issues occur when you are too hunched over; take a deep breath, relax your shoulders, and change your hand position. When you start to feel anything in your neck, straighten out your spine and pull your chin back. Don’t forget to hydrate!! Our Mamba Motivators & staff are always here to help!
