Manitoba EMO has the following position available: Response Program Manager. This position is responsible for leading the Response Program in pursuit of the Manitoba EMO vision of building towards an ever more resilient province through applying a whole-of-government approach to all phases of emergency management. The successful applicant will be responsible to manage the Manitoba EMO activities and systems that support the Manitoba Emergency Management System and facilitate ...provision of risk-based information to government decision makers to ensure effective provincial response to disasters. The Response Program Manager ensures the continuity of emergency management response coordination through the provincial duty officer system, maintenance and dissemination of accurate and timely province-wide situational awareness, and readiness of the Manitoba Emergency Coordination Centre for activation in response to major emergencies, disasters, and significant events.
