Treaty Day marks the beginning of Mi'kmaq History Month in Nova Scotia. The theme of this year's Mi'kmaq History Month is plant knowledge and use. The museum weathered well after storm #teddy earlier this week. When you visit our museum, we have our Hurricane Havoc display in our foyer showing the latest storm developments in the Atlantic Ocean. Who would have thought we would be through the entire alphabet of 2020 names at this point! Notice there are no names for U, X, Y, or Z.
