The E Kids initiative started over 3 years ago to benefit sick children & their families, one organic meal at a time! Currently we have served 128,250 organic meals! Today we honour Cowichan Missing and Murdered Women, Men and Children by hanging red dresses downtown. On May 5 and again on May 8, 2021, between 10am noon, ...two people will be set up in Station Street Park. They will welcome individuals as they arrive to collect a dress for displaying on community trees. Red dresses will also be available for distribution to folks. COVID-19 guidelines and orders will be adhered to at all times. People arriving to collect a dress are to wear a mask and maintain physical distance from one another. People can take a dress for display and awareness by hanging it along in one of three preferred areas within the community: along Craig Street; the area by the train station; or along TransCanada Hwy 1 (with consideration to not obstruct traffic visibility). This time was different. ... I committed to about 20 minutes a day and made time for me. Im so happy I did. I calmed down, I felt recharged and grounded. I have been asked to pay it forward and share this with my community. I have done it a little differently, I have created a text series so you wont have to log onto Facebook to get your daily meditation, I will text it to you every morning.
