A Benefit Concert for the Haitian Victims devastated by Hurricane Matthew. Bob Drayer Organ, Klavichord, Pedal Harpsichord and Theatre Organ Monday Night, October 17, 2016 at 7:30 PM Grace United Fellowship Hall in Sturgis, across from the Post Office.... Admission is free freewill offering for Pastor Joseph, or you may contribute to your denominations emergency relief fund. Bob will play numerous pipe organs, a Klavichord a Pedal Harpsichord and a silent-movie era Theatre Organ. These historic instruments have been digitally sampled so you can hear them (almost) exactly as they sounded. You will hear Popular and Classical Music from the past through the 20th century. A Power Point presentation will take you to see the instruments as you hear them. Coffee and snacks will follow the concert.

A huge congratulations goes out to Dr. Shamsher Singh for passing the SIPPA Assessment. Dr. Singh will begin practicing in Preeceville on October 11th. Welcome Dr. Singh and family.

NEWS RELEASE Friday, June 24, 2016 For immediate release Additional Physician Coming to Preeceville Residents of Preeceville and area will soon benefit from additional physician services in the community. A newly recruited physician will move to Preeceville to join the primary health care team on October 1, 2016. A third physician, upon successful completion of the Saskatchewan International Physician Practice Assessment, will also join the Preeceville team in October. Focused recruitment efforts to restore sustainable physician services have been ongoing, says President and CEO, Suann Laurent. I am very pleased that we will have the stability of three physicians in Preeceville. The Primary Health Care Clinic remains fully operational with Dr. M. Shahrestani, Nurse Practitioner Dawn Kennedy, and locum physicians continuing to see clients in Preeceville. Appointments can be made by phoning the Clinic at 306-547-3098. The Sunrise Health Region continues to work with local providers, physicians, the Ministry of Health and the community to work on improving health care services in Preeceville. Progress takes time and teamwork. I wish to thank the Preeceville Town Council and the people of Preeceville and area who support our efforts and who create a welcoming environment for new members of the health care team, adds Laurent. I also want to acknowledge the Sunrise Health Region board and management and the health care providers in Preeceville for their dedication to sustaining quality health services in Preeceville. Proud of the 606 Squadron marksmanship team that competed in zone competition on Feb 20 in Yorkton. They ended up first overall as a team and in the Open division Cole Bilanchuk placed 1st and Corianne Metherell placed 2nd. In the junior division Braden Mclean placed 3rd, Morgan Mclean placed 4th, and Eric Prestie placed 5th. They are advancing to Provincials in Prince Albert on Apr 1-3
