The MBA Games Organizing Committee at Vancouver Island University would like to officially release the decision on hosting for the MBA Games 2018. The MBA Games 2018 will now be placed for OPEN BID. VIU had an amazing opportunity to host the MBA Games 2017 from an open bid and would like to provide an opportunity for another school to do the same and to continue to in...spire leaders across the country. If your University is interested in hosting the National MBA Games 2018, please email us at [email protected]. An email will be sent to all 2017 Team Captains around the bidding process. On behalf of the MBA Games Organizing Committee at Vancouver Island University, we would like to thank all the MBA Leaders across Canada for attending the MBA Games 2017 for the first time in British Columbia. The MBA Games is the largest annual gathering of MBA leaders across Canada. Delegates compete in Academic, Athletic and Spirit competitions with the overall aim of winning the Queens Cup ( Overall Winner), Schulich Cup (Case Overall Winner), Titi Watul; working togeth...er in spirit ( Newly introduced Spirit Totem Award by VIU)and the Sports Overall Winner. At this point we would like to officially release the results of the competition. Overall MBA Games 2017 Champions The Queens Cup represents the Overall MBA Games Winner which consists of teams receiving points in Academic, Athletics and Spirit components. In particular the MBA Games 2017 raised an all time record of $300,000 including matching funds for the Moosehide Campaign in launching a new National signature initiative titled, " Safe Space, Safe Place" with an overarching goal to protect and prevent violence towards women on University campuses across Canada. Huge thank you to our event associate Dane Eivindson for surprising all of us this afternoon with the edit from today's MBA Games 2017 VIP Canucks Experience in support of the Moosehide Campaign. Today we unveiled the official 'Safe Space Safe Place' logo which will launch the signature initiative to help provide safe spaces & safe place on university campuses across Canada for women.
