We are so proud of Charleigh for all of her hard work and exceptional sportsmanship this weekend. There needs to be more of this in the world of competition!

They say the Cobblers' shoes always have holes in them - thankfully for Cash, we decided to fix a few of those holes the other day. Just a typical shoeing on my five year old gelding - first time hot fit and he stood like a champ! We are working on correcting his folded-over bars but did not have much hoof mass to work with so decided to do it over a couple of short cycles.

This is another off-track Thoroughbred with less than perfect feet. After a period of malnourishment and neglect he was rehomed and we are working away on recovering his feet. The two holes in the outer wall were for the application of anchors for a pair of casts, to give him some much-needed stability and to avoid nailing, which can be incredibly painful for laminitic horses. #equicast #horses #laminitis

"Beckham" the dressage horse trucked in to see us this morning, missing a shoe and most of the medial side of his hoof. We dremelled out all of the damaged wall, hot fit the shoe to help dry things up and rebuilt the missing chunk with Vettec Superfast. With a little patience and creativity Beckham and Kourtney are back on their #QuestforGold. #Vettec
