Under the umbrella of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Canada and its consulate, Moroccan organizations are proud to organize for the first time in Toronto the Morroccan Cultural Week, a unique, ethentic and first of its kind cultural manifestation. This multi-faceted initiative will be held at Aga Khan Museum as part of the first of a series constituting a main event called Caravans of gold, fragments in time: art, culture and exchange across medieval Saharan Africa. The cultural week will end with a 3-day celebration in the Rotunda of Metro Hall, Toronto. This cultural manifestation will showcase musical and dance performances, lectures and discussions, film screenings, handicraft displays, national foods tastings and a fashion show of traditional Kaftans.
