My amazing client had two pillars that had significant wood deterioration at their base. Replacing an entire pillar comes with significant cost. Instead the bases were replaced with a matched fiberglass that was then painted. My client was really happy with the results. Scroll down and see :)

My client had me transform the floors throughout her house these past few weeks. You can see the beautiful change after I logged many miles behind floor sanding machines, staining the boards with minwax oil based classic gray on my hands and knees and applying many coats of water based polyurethane.
