I'm Mel, owner of Melissa Alison Events, which has been in business now for just over 2 years. I juggle this small business, alongside working full time as a project coordinator in construction. . I created Melissa Alison Events because I have always had a passion for events, graduating with an event management degree and having several years ...of experience working on festivals, weddings, concerts and conferences. . Some fun facts for you: 1. I'm originally from Australia, but have have happily lived in Canada for almost 12 years, and have been a proud citizen now for 3 years. 2. I love beer. All the beers, especially Guinness! 3. Summer is nice... but winter is my favourite season, there is a reason I moved away from Australia after all! 4. I had my own wedding last year, in the middle of the pandemic, and it was perfect, despite all the changes. 5. We are expecting our first child in the fall of this year - super exciting, and scary at the same time! .
