"On a Frosty Moonlit Night" Finally getting some nice clear nights. Moon was shining brightly so a great chance to take a few night shots. Jock River in Barrhaven this evening. -20 with the windchill but so peaceful out shooting. Stay warm :)

"Morning Hunter" Spent the day photographing short eared owls yesterday. There must have been forty of them hunting at times. Mostly they kept just out of range of my 400mm lens. Need the 600 prime with an extender - maybe when I win the lotto :) It was still a very enjoyable day, even though I did not have adequate gear. I still spent several enjoyable hours watching them hunting.
