As much as we appreciate all of our loyal followers, we cannot continue to give away these very expensive gowns for the prices people are bidding. It is insulting to our business and to the designers to have people inboxing us asking for a cheaper price than the starting bid. AUCTION BIDDING CLARIFICATION There has been some confusion and questions in regard to finalized end bid time. ... I would like to try and clear that up for everyone as much as possible. Please note, this is our first experience at attempting to auction off dresses. We are trying are best to provide the most proficient information and guidance during the process. However, we may run into problems and errors along the way. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Each auction post states it will end on a specific date at 8pm prompt. This means that once the clock is at 759pm, there is an entire 60 seconds to get a bid in. As soon as the clock turns 20:00:00 hours which is 8pm, the bidding is done. For example; if a bid is placed at 19:59:59 (07:59:59) and a second bid comes in at 20:00:01 (08:00:01), the winning bid will be the 19:59:59, as it has not surpassed the 20:00:00 time mark. A bid that comes in at exactly 20:00:00 is still within the bid time. Therefore, that would be the actual bid time cut off. Anything after will not qualify. I hope this clarifies well. We are excited to announce that we are moving the store to lovely downtown Millbrook Ontario!!! We do not have an exact date of the opening in Millbrook. It will hopefully be sometime in September. As prom is nearing, we realize you are anxious about finding that perfect dress. Or perhaps you are still searching for your bridesmaid dress? Where do you look for an in person perspective when stores are shut down? We would like to help in what ways we can. WE WILL BE CONTINUOUSLY POSTING A SELECTION OF DRESSES. The price and size will be posted on the main picture of each dress. ... Just like wedding gowns, prom and bridesmaid dresses fit differently than in-store retail sizes and are also meant to be altered. Even if the dress is your exact size, you will notice the length, bust and any straps are common areas to be altered. The bottom of each main dress picture will have the street size (which is your regular size) that the dress will fit with alterations. For example, if you are regularly a dress size 6, you will be able to purchase a dress that is listed as a size 8 or 10. And then alter the dress accordingly to your body. It is better to order a few sizes up and alter the dress in than to order too small. Generally when attempting to let a dress out, there is an inch on each side to let out. Keep these rules in consideration . Please note, you will not be able to try on any of the dresses due to lockdown. The process will be just like ordering a dress on line from an online business site. All dresses are FINAL SALE AND NOT EXCHANGEABLE. Dresses can be paid for by etransfer or credit card. We do not hold dresses! Once you have paid for a dress, you must retrieve the dress within two weeks of purchase. Well 2020...what can we say?.... Actually, there is a lot we can say!!! We are however, looking forward to when we can begin booking private dress appointments again. We will spend the time in shop showing you our gowns and putting them on a live model so that you may get a better perspective of each gown. All businesses deemed non essential including ourselves will be shutting down by Christmas day. This is due to the provincial bylaw decision made in regards to Covid We are taking appointments for this Tuesday the 22nd and Wednesday the 23rd.
