Parents and grandparents sponsorship. CIC just announced today that this year starting 3rd of January 2017, you can fill in an online intention to sponsor your parents or grandparents. Unlike in the previous years where everybody used to rush to submit their application on 3rd and CPC Miss used to accept on first come basis; not anymore... Now once your "intention" is in online, you may be invited to apply on a random basis.(only 10000 application) Big change!!!!!!!!!

Effective December 15th 2016, new guidelines regarding Spousal applications will apply I. E online application procedure similar to online visitor visa and express entry. It would be faster and efficient for sure especially one does not need to wait for police clearance and medical until asked for by cic.

November 19th changes are really significant if you think about it; it opens door for workers working in canada under intra company transfers or under NAFTA Because you don't need LMIA. I.e that gets you 5O points and gives you an edge over someone else. It also encourages o level management jobs because it give you 200 LMIA points instead of 50. In other words for o level jobs with LMIA almost guaranteed PR. The new change is not favourable to earlier flawed system where a g...rade 12 educated with one year course in canada and one year experience with LMIA get you PR. however if you have done degree or 3 years program it is great because you may get additional 30 points in relation to someone with 2 years course who only get 15 points. So if you are planning to come to canada to study with the intention to get PR ,make sure you think carefully. See more

Today Nov 19th 2016 new changes to skilled worker program I. E express entry take place. The biggest change is that for LMIA one will be awarded only 50 points instead of 600. In other words even if you have LMIA you may not be invited for PR however it opens the door for many others who were not qualified before because you are awarded additional points for education in canada. You have excellent chance of invitation if you have studied 3 years or more. Check my website for more anylysis
