Michael Sherwood

On May 30, 2016 Sydney Sherwood played two soccer games. The first was the championship game with her school team in which she scored 2 goals helping her team to a 5-1 win and the gold medal. The second game occurred that same evening with her club team where she scored all 7 goals in a 7-5 win over an aggressive Bradford team. What an amazing day!

I love shooting sports almost as much as love playing them.

Recently I was contacted by a hockey mom who had seen a poster that I produced for an Ajax FC soccer player. She was hoping to get a similar poster for her 5-year old hockey player son. Having never photographed ice hockey before, I jumped at this opportunity to photograph the sport I loved playing as a kid. Here are some of my favourite photos from the project as well as the final 36"x24" poster.
