Do you know where your next meal is coming from today? If not, you may be engaging in one of the top reasons why people fail to stick to their diet and don’t achieve their nutrition goals. Since everything is closed on New Years Day anyway, why not turn on some music or a show (after you kick that hangover - try my fave hangover cure fresh orange juice and eggs followed by BCAAs ) and start your new prepping habit. You can begin simply with hard boiling a few eggs, slicing u...p some fruit or veggies, cooking up some chicken breast, ground beef or Turkey or even just making some Greek yogurt bowls or some of my fave high protein oatmeal (video coming tomorrow!). Let us know what you prepped today below. Oh and who wants to share today’s meals with me? There’s enough for two!

Lucky enough or unlucky enough to own a gym right now? We are forced to shut down for a fifth month of the year with no income and no members allowed in, but at least I still get to workout in a gym (albeit by myself while feeling lonely). Lol. The good news is we are filming and converting these workouts as part of our virtual membership option so they can be done at home. Let us know if you’re interested in joining!

Two days ago, after three months of dedication, one of our PT clients hit her goal weight of 180 pounds, down from 200. And she did all this while working in a chocolate factory with one of the employee perks being free samples. She stopped making excuses, wasn’t perfect but didn’t beat herself up over setbacks either, and remained consistent throughout the process. She put effort into both heavy lifting and better dietary choices, and was able to lose fat while increasing her muscle and strength. She feels better than ever, gets to enjoy Christmas and gets to move on to goal #2! Stay tuned for the next part of her journey....

Perfect bodybuilding breakfast! Low calorie, low fat, high protein and a good amount of carbs. Plus so delicious! Protein pancakes with Greek nonfat vanilla yogurt, toasted almonds and a drizzle of maple syrup. Such a great way to start Thanksgiving day. Quickie ingredients and instructions below and full recipe on our blog later today! Protein pancakes Ingredients:... 2 tbsp peanut butter 2 whole eggs 1 Scoop vegan vanilla protein powder 1 cup quick oats 2 bananas, mashed 1 cup egg whites Cinnamon to taste (I like lots) Pinch of sea salt Toppings: Greek nonfat vanilla yogurt, slivered toasted almonds, real maple syrup Instructions: Mix together first 8 ingredients in a bowl and use 1/2 cup batter to make each pancake. Top with Greek yogurt, toasted slivered almonds and real maple syrup.

There have been several requests for my protein nut butter recipe, so I finally decided to share it. I like to serve it cold atop Greek yogurt combined with berry sauce and granola, crumbled energy balls, or some roasted pumpkin seeds or on top of oatmeal. Warning - it is highly addictive so proceed at your own risk . Here it is: Homemade Protein Nut Butter Serves: 16 Prep Time: 5 mins... INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup almond butter 2 scoops vanilla vegan powder 3 tbsp coconut butter, melted (coconut butter is like almond butter but made from coconut - you can make your own out of fried shredded coconut) 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp coconut sugar pinch of sea salt INSTRUCTIONS In a large bowl mix together all ingredients until well combined. Was lucky enough to have some pretty amazing meals over the past few weeks - some of them prepped, others chef created (thanks @chefjustinscott), and some even bought (helloooo @hft.donuts) but whats important here is the overarching theme - consisting mainly of fresh, whole food ingredients with lots of veggies and fruit and tons of colour! So if you throw some donuts in there once in a while it all balances out. What have you guys been eating lately?
