FOR GUELPH! 2020 has been a year of challenges, but we have witnessed moments of good too. Let’s celebrate all the giving, loving and serving! At Milestone, we simply want to be known for what we are for. We believe people matter so we will volunteer our time, use our talents and share our resources.... YOU gave, served and loved those in need and made a huge impact. YOU donated over 10 boxes of winter wear clothing to the Children’s Foundation of Guelph. YOU packaged 1000 bags of soup for the Souper Heroes Program. YOU donated $1000 to the Guelph Food Bank. YOU showed what it means to be FOR Guelph! North Point Community Church has designed a digital event just for you. It’s called Unwrapping Christmas. You’ll hear from two people who have been where you are. They’ll share about their first Christmas, what was helpful (and what was not) and hopefully provide some encouragement as you approach Christmas.... Dropoff Location: 930 Woodlawn Rd W Unit 1, Guelph, ON N1K 1T2 Donation Dropoff Time: 9:00am-10:00am (When dropping off donations, please wear a mask. Thank you!) New Items Needed: Winter coats, boots, snow pants, hats, scarves, mitts.... Gently Used Items Needed: Winter coats and boots should be ready to wear, clean, and in good repair before donating. Gently used hats and mitts also accepted. Please no holes, tears, missing buttons, broken zippers or clasps. Your donations will be bringing support to social-community partners such as @hopehouseguelph, @community_resourecentre and Immigrant Services!
