Flicking through one of my favourite reference books - "In search of lost gods (a guide to British folklore)" by Ralph Whitlock - I came across this in the festivals section. I'd not heard of it before. Does anyone know anymore about it?

From our friends in Gloucestershire. They're not snowbound and rarely are at Christmas. We went to see the Marshfield Mummers on Boxing Day a few years ago. It was cold and damp, but much less so than most of Canada!

ON CHRISTMAS EVE (The Rumrunners' Carol) here's a quick video of a song I wrote for one of "Patio Dave" Bowen's Christmas Variety Shows at the Lighthouse Theatr...e in Port Dover about 15 years ago. It's a true story, (mostly) from rum running days in Port Dover. Some sort of weird Christmas miracle.
