Ontario Parks is aware that there have been some bird fatalities at the Centre at Misery Bay Provincial Park from collisions with windows and railing panels. Friends of Misery Bay(FOMB) and Ontario Parks have existing bird silhouettes on windows and railing panels that are added to/replaced on a regular basis, but better deterrents are needed. FOMB is investigating other deterrents that will help prevent future bird collisions.... Thanks for your interest in making Misery Bay Provincial Park a better place for all creatures. Thanksgiving weekend is the last weekend for the washrooms being open at the Visitor Centre. They will be closed for the season on Tuesday. Happy Trails.
